Cash App began as a peer-to-peer payment platform and is now much more. Debit cards, stocks, bitcoin—the brand has a whole suite of financial products for customers’ needs. This lifecycle new customer onboarding series was Cash App’s inaugural venture into the world of marketing emails, and I owned copy, streamlining product messaging to drive awareness and adoption. The campaign had an average open rate of 50% and click rate of 9%—not too shabby for a debut, but I might be biased.
